Unlocking Investment Flows: Kazakhstan-China Capital Market Integration

The recent cross-border placements on AIX, HKEX and CIBM have enabled issuers and investment banks on both sides to tap each other’s markets and establish business connections. With more deals under discussion, there is growing evidence that long standing efforts to enhance connectivity between the capital markets of Kazakhstan and China are beginning to translate into tangible investment flows. This panel will focus on panda and dim sum bond issuance, including technical aspects and regulatory hurdles; investors’ appetite and preferences; and further integration between AIX and SSE/HKEX to support cross-border issuance.
