Turnover of Kazatomprom securities on AIX amounted to over USD 14 mln since IPO

66% of the turnover has been traded by retail investors

Astana International Exchange (AIX) presents its market operational update for the first four months of operation from 14 November 2018 to 14 March 2019. For the indicated period, turnover of JSC “NAC “Kazatomprom” (Kazatomprom) securities on AIX amounted to over $14 mln. Turnover in ordinary shares was 5.4 bln tenge (1,101,537 shares), in global depository receipts – $1.7 mln (130,142 GDRs). The average monthly volume of trading in shares and GDRs of Kazatomprom on AIX exceeds $3.5 million. The velocity was 50% for shares and 95% for GDRs in February which is a high level for a frontier market. 66% of trade turnover on securities of Kazatomprom on AIX is provided by retail investors.
